Many children are left abandoned by both the state and their society. Struggling to survive, some of the children turn to crime in order to create an existence. As young as eight years old, they are sentenced for things such as theft, vagrancy, and street fighting.
LIVINGHOPE supports the boys through their sentences and aids in reintroducing them into society after their release. This can include helping them find work and a place to live. In many cases, young children released from prison have no one and no where to turn for help. By offering help when it is needed most, the cycle of crime and neglect is broken and children can return to society with a greater chance for success.
LIVINGHOPE has become highly acclaimed for its work in the Russian Far East and has now built a hope that is alive in the hearts of kids where there once was none.
